LCA LogoAdam Steven Boni is very proud to announce that he was very recently inducted as a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America (LCA), a prestigious, invitation-only honorary society for trial lawyers based in the United States of America.

While membership is predominantly American, select Canadian lawyers who demonstrate exceptional merit are also eligible for membership as a Fellow. With membership capped at 3,500 Fellows—representing less than one-half of one percent of U.S. lawyers—the LCA is intentionally exclusive, prioritizing diversity, inclusion, and excellence across all segments of the bar. Its mission is to honor experienced and highly qualified litigators, promote professional development and scholarly engagement, uphold superior advocacy and ethical standards, and support a strong, independent judiciary.

Fellows are carefully selected following a rigorous vetting process that considers their litigation accomplishments, trial effectiveness, and ethical reputation. The selection process integrates peer nominations, internal research, client feedback, judicial input, and recognition by other reputable legal associations. Unlike many honors that rely solely on courtroom frequency or public visibility, the LCA emphasizes a broader measure of effectiveness, including leadership, legal insight, and impact within one’s area of practice. This comprehensive and inclusive approach ensures that LCA Fellows represent one of the most accomplished and diverse groups of litigators in the profession, united by a commitment to excellence in the courtroom and integrity in practice.Typically, Fellows are senior partners, shareholders, or experienced independent practitioners with a minimum of twelve years in litigation.  Once appointed, Fellows may retain their designation indefinitely, provided they continue to uphold the standards of the organization.
